I got the job!! =D
I applied for an IS position sometime back in October/November; I did interviews, all that jazz. Then never heard back, and no one responded to my attempts to ask about it. So, after a while, I gave up. And then, out of the blue, they called me this morning. I went in at 4:30 for another interview, and they offered me the job! =D
I accepted, obviously. I should be starting in about two weeks. After I finished, I went to my current employer to give my notice. They said what I expected, to leave in good standing, I needed to finish the two weeks I'd already been scheduled for. Which is fine. So, 12/22 is my last day! =D
...And I'm probably happier than I should be that my remaining retail shifts are numbered. I will miss some of my coworkers, but not the job. I'm definitely ready to try something else. I just hope that this works out well~!
