Jan. 31st, 2011 12:48 amWell, the weekend's nearly over and I feel like I didn't really get anything done. Bleh.
I spent most of today watching movies. First, I watched Secretariat with Mom. I'd seen it already, but I loved it enough I didn't mind watching it again. It's a really good movie, and it's even more epic when you consider that it's a true story. <3 Yes, I am still a horse person, after all these years. And Big Red is love. <3
Then later this evening, I went with Mom and Dad to see True Grit. Dad wanted to see it, and Mom and I agreed to go along. I normally don't like westerns, so I really didn't expect I'd enjoy it. But it was pretty good. I'd watch it again. Hell, I'm almost considering renting the original, my dislike of John Wayne notwithstanding.
Also been reading some fic lately...but I've just about exhausted my usual sources. All that's left is to poke through FF.net, and that's a daunting task in any fandom. I don't suppose anyone wants to point me toward some good Pandora Hearts fic that isn't on the main LJ comm? Or How to Train Your Dragon fic, likewise? *Puppy eyes*
...Man, I think it's time for a snack. I'm getting hungry. Off to raid the kitchen, then!
