Okay, so I got my MRI on Friday, then went in today so Doc could look at it. Turns out I have a herniated disk. Yay. =P He's started me on a new type of treatment, called decompression, I think. Basically, I'm being put on the rack. No, seriously. They have you lying down, and strap you in around your shoulders and hips, then something at the end of the bed starts pulling. So, that's fun. =/ Hopefully it'll help.

Also, he's sending me to see a surgeon (!!!) on Wednesday. From the sound of things, it's more of a 'covering all the bases' thing, but still. A little freaky. Dad said most likely no surgeon would want to do surgery on me since I'm so young. I kinda hope he's right. I'd much rather get racked and have that straighten things out!

But, on the upside, I'm thinking that this new doc might give me some meds. Besides the obvious benefit of pain relief, I think if I had some pain killers that actually did something, I could probably get back to work. At this point, I've been out all last week, and then I figure I'll be out until at least Wednesday this week. If I'm lucky, maybe I can get back to work on Thursday. But, who knows. This is all speculation, obviously.

I just know that I'm really freaking sick of being stuck in bed all the time. I'm booooooooooored, damn it!
