Random Book Geekery
May. 11th, 2012 05:03 amAnyone else reading the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth? I just read the first two earlier this week, and I really enjoyed them. I can't wait for the next one to come out.
amelia_seyroon, you may want to try these if you're enjoying the Hunger Games books. There's a somewhat similar, and that's how they were recommended to me.
That's another reason I'm kind of amused; not only did I get to read new books that I liked, but they came from an unexpected source. My boss! Yeah, K also likes to read (his whole family does, from what he's said), and he mentioned this series to me on Friday. We'd both read the Hunger Games series and liked it, and now they had been reading this one, so he asked if I'd read it. I said no, and asked for the title and author so I could look it up. I did, and it sounded cool, so I bought it. And it rocked. I read the whole first book and over half of the second one, in just one shift. XD
...Yeah, I love my job. Not only can I talk about books, but my boss likes reading enough to offer me recommendations! <3
