FMA Brotherhood Episodes 50-51
Yikes, this is really late, huh? I've been so wrapped up in Umineko lately, I just never got around to watching these. ^^;; Oops? Well, I've finished Umineko, so here we are~
Episode 50
-- Poor Mrs. Bradley. =( I keep saying it, but I feel bad for her.
-- Haha, the looks on the soldiers' faces when they realize that Roy and his men are going easy on them. XD
-- Haha. Aw, the Central military thinks that Briggs will hold back because they've got Olivia as a 'hostage'. Yeah, right. XD XD
-- Buccaneer~! Speak of the devil, ne? Here come the Briggs soldiers, ready to kick ass. <3
-- Haha, Roy tells his extra troops to abandon him and run if things get really bad. They agree immediately. And he's like, "What? Isn't this where you promise to follow me to the depths of hell?" And they're like, "Uh, no." Heh, he's too used to Hawkeye and the rest...they really would follow him to hell and back.
-- And Rebecca arrives, with her huge truck full of goodies. All manner of ammo, guns, etc. XD I swear, she's such a minor character, but I really like her.
-- And Maria~! =D =D (I'd forgotten how soft her voice is, though. It's weird all over again. XD)
-- Havoc~! =D =D Man, I missed him. <3 (And that pink blanket makes me laugh.)
-- And Mei, too! Lots of characters that we haven't seen in a long time, in this one! =D
-- OMG, Olivia~! The scene where she stabs the one guy and pulls her gun on the other, all before they can do anything but gape stupidly at her...that's one of my favorites! =D
-- Haha! Ed, running up to the soldiers standing guard, brandishing his watch and crying that Scar is chasing him. Seriously funny. Good distraction, though. XD
-- ...God, those freaky zombie-things are creepy! Screaming like that...yech!
Episode 51
-- Well, we've got a new opening this time. And...I kinda hate it. =P It's easily the worst one yet. The song's so-so, on its own, but for an opening theme, at this stage of the story...it really sucks. Both the song and the footage are way too angsty. Seriously...we're at the ass-kicking part of the story, here! We need a fast-paced, battle song! Not this lame-ass thing. =P
-- Is it bad that I approve of those creepy zombie-things eating the guy who activated them? =P Seriously...divine justice, right there. Although, I will say...that scene's even creepier here than it was in the manga.
-- Olivia being badass, then Sloth showing up to fight...this is going to be gooooood. =D
-- Heh...Selim banging on Al's head to transmute a morse code signal to Father...that's just kinda funny.
-- And Envy's back to his true form. Yuck. =P
-- Squee~! Olivia vs. Sloth, and then Alex turns up just in time to lend a hand! =D This is seriously one of my favorite fights in the whole damn series. Yay~!
-- Heinkel giving Al the Philosopher's Stone that he found earlier, and Al agreeing to use it to fight Kimblee and Pride...Seriously awesome scene, and well acted. <3
-- Damn, the new ending is lame, too! =P Argh! Way too many still shots, and the art's really funky in a couple of places. The song might be okay on its own, but like the opening, it's way too slow for this part of the story. Damn it. =P
-- The next episode looks awesome, though. Lots of fights, and lots of other things going on. So that should be fun.
Is it time for the next episode yet? =D
