My Thoughts on Claymore

Well, I just watched the end of Claymore.

I gotta say...I don't really see why so many people hate the anime. Yeah, I'm sure the manga's likely better. (Isn't it always?) But as a stand-alone piece...it's good. For someone with no knowledge of the manga, I really don't see anything to complain about. The ending wasn't bad, as I'd half expected. The only thing I could say is that it's pretty open-ended...there's serious room for a second season. Which is a little frustrating, since that's not going to happen. But then, that's what the manga's for, huh?

Hopefully I'll be able to start reading the manga this week some time. I'm really looking forward to it!

...Now my only question is, what do I rent next? XD I've just finished Claymore and I'll finish Noir with my next batch...I need another series to watch. Anybody got any recommendations?

I actually really like the anime, I dunno why so many people dislike it. I read the manga, and I thought it was pretty well done.

Uhh... here are some series (dunno if you've watched them or not yet): Strawberry Panic, Darker Than Black, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Angel Sanctuary (OVA)...
That's all I can think of right now xD

I actually haven't watched any of those, thanks! I've been toying with the idea of watching Higurashi, but the Umineko anime confused the heck out of me, so I'm not sure if I'd like it or not. XD We'll see, I guess!
