Work/School Stuff
Mar. 27th, 2007 01:02 amMan...I haven't really posted much lately, have I?
First off, a school annoyance. See, I've got a test on Wednesday. And this class is one of the ones who stupidly schedule all their tests in the evening. >_> 'Cause it's not like we students have a life or responsibilities or anything. So, I ask my TA if I can take it another time. But the only other times available are even worse than the original time. Grr. So, I had to ask my boss if I can have the night off.
Luckily, he said it was no problem; I can even come in when I'm done, so I don't lose a full shift's worth of hours. Which I fully intend to do...What can I say; since I started this job, I bring home roughly the same amount every week, so I really notice if my hours change. And I don't much fancy losing 7-8 hours...my paycheck would not be so good then. =P
So, this way, I only lose 4 hours...which I'm going to try to make up by staying late on during some of my other shifts this week. I got in an extra hour tonight, and I'm going to try to do the same tomorrow.
On a happier note, I had my three month evaluation at work today. It was good; my boss is happy with me, and thinks I'm doing a good job. Yay~! Not that I'm really surprised, but I actually like this job, so I want to do well. And, as an added bonus, I'm getting a raise. Only like 20 cents, I think, but hey. More money per hour is always a good thing. =D
