Fullmetal Alchemist - My current fandom, and one of my very favorite anime/manga titles. I love the characters, the plot, and the general concept. It's just a seriously awesome series. My order of preference of the different versions is as follows: Manga > Brotherhood > 1st Anime
Anime - Man, I've been an anime fan for a loooong time now...it's gotta be about ten years now. Yikes. XD I like lots of different types, but I'll always have a soft spot for shounen fighting titles, like DBZ and Yu Yu Hakusho.
Manga - I've not been into manga for quite as long as anime, but still a fairly long time. My first series was Kodocha; my best friend was reading it and he kept bugging me to try it. So I borrowed his copies of the first few volumes, and I was hooked. ^^
Slayers - One of my earlier anime loves, Slayers is still awesome after all these years. <3 I was hooked within five minutes of the first episode; I love Lina Inverse. Quite possibly the best anime character ever, seriously. Slayers is a bit unusual for me in that it's one of the only series that I prefer to watch in English. I usually go for subtitled anime, but I saw Slayers in English first, and the dub is damn good. So, yeah, Lisa Ortiz is my Lina. I still haven't watched Revolution/Evolution-R, though I intend to pick up the boxsets as soon as they come out. <3
Sailor Moon - Sailor Moon is one of the very first anime series I ever watched, and I still love it. I remember watching it on Toonami after school. If I had to pick, I'd say that S is my favorite season; if for no other reason than that I love the Outer Senshi. <3
Revolutionary Girl Utena - SKU is a neat series; after all, what's not to love about a heroine who decides that she'd rather be the prince doing the rescuing, than be the damsel getting rescued? The art is gorgeous, and there's lots of cool music. The plot's a little twisty in places, but it's good. And the movie is a special kind of crack. XD
Kingdom Hearts - Probably the first game series I ever played to completion. I've never been much of a gamer; and the few titles I did play, I tended not to finish. But I finished KH, and then Chain of Memories and KH2. I love Disney, so it was really awesome to get to see those characters used in a setting like this. (Plus, King Mickey is seriously badass, which is just amusing. XD)
