Hey, A Midweek Post!
Gah...Yeah, it's Thursday. And, unfortunately, it's not been a very good one.
First, I had health class today...Luckily we didn't talk about anything squicky today. Instead, we got a depressing lecture and a stupid assignment. =P Japanese class was okay, though. But then, it usually is. That's the only class that I have that I actually like. ^^
A little after that, I went to see an advisor, to get my schedule for next semester set up. I also got to register for a summer class...I don't really want to take one, but since I had to retake CS 215, I'm behind. Plus, since I'll only be taking one class over the summer, I can give it my full attention, and will probably do better in it...That being the reason that I've decided to take Calculus 2. Since I had a bit of trouble with Calc 1, I don't particularly want to try to take Calc 2 with a full load of other classes. If that's the only thing I have to worry about, I think I'll be able to do okay. And, of course, it's a morning course. =P For two days out of the week, it meets at 7:30 a.m. *Cries* Meaning, I'll have to leave the house by 6:30, to have any chance of getting there on time. I normally get up at 6:00...I'm going to try and see if I can get up and ready in half an hour...'cause there's no way in hell I'm getting up any earlier than that.
Then, there's my schedule for fall semester...It's okay, except for one thing. Several of my classes are so far apart, with so little time between them, that there's no way in hell that I'd be able to make it to them on time. Thus, I have to go back on Monday and talk to the advisor again, and see if we can fix it. What really ticks me off is that this is my own fault...While we were filling out my schedule, it never occurred to me to check where they were, and if I could cover the distance in the time allowed. As I've said before, I'm easily annoyed by stupidity, but it ticks me off even more if it's something stupid that I did. *Grumbles*
Plus, I still have to work on that homework and lab for CS 220...I emailed my TA with a couple of questions about the homework, but he hasn't answered yet. I'd like to wait for that message, because it would probably make my life easier...plus it'd be an excuse to take a little down time. But, since both of these are due a week from tomorrow, there's no way I can afford to take the time. =(
...Man, it's kinda weird to think, but we just have next week, then our finals...then the semester's over. While these next couple of weeks are going to be kinda rough, I'm sure looking forward to the break afterward. I'll have a few weeks before my summer class starts...hopefully, with rest, I'll be able to stop acting like such a brainless zombie. ^_^
