Everyone Has Their Addictions...
...and lately, mine are video games, Starbucks, and LJ. XD
It's a little odd; I've never been much of a gamer. I'd play a game until I finished it (or not, depending), then I'd not touch the console for quite a while afterward. But lately, I've just been playing one after another. I played Ocarina of Time, then Twilight Princess. Then I moved on to Final Fantasy X, and I'm currently playing FFX-2. I ordered a copy of Okami last week; that's what I'll play next. Plus, I've still got those StarFox games that I haven't played yet. And yesterday I was poking around online, looking for ideas as to what game to get next. XD Talk about getting ahead of myself...I'm only in Chapter 2 of FFX-2, and I haven't even gotten my copy of Okami yet. It'll be a while before I need another game, but I keep wanting to look anyway. So...anyone got any recommendations? =D
Also, Starbucks. I've been varying degrees of fond of it since I first found one. But now it's reached the levels of full on addiction; I blame my mother. XD I love their tea (shaken green tea and chai, mmm) and even some of the coffee. White mocha is generally my drink of choice; it's one of the only things that's sweet enough for me. ^^;; And now there's a Starbucks in the town where I work...ah, temptation. It's probably a good thing that it's on the opposite side of town from my job. Otherwise, I'd spend so much money there.
And, finally, LJ. I've been on LJ for almost 4 years now...and I don't expect to leave any time soon. So my question is...should I spring for a permanent account? I've wanted one for a long time, but it's a somewhat large amount of money, especially considering this whole mess with LJ recently...I'm not sure it'd be a sound investment. Any of you guys have one? If so, care to offer advice/thoughts?
