FMA Brotherhood Episodes 53-54
Ugh, late again. Man, I suck at keeping up with this, sometimes. =P Whoops. Oh, well. Here we are, so let's go~
Episode 53
-- Heh, it's just kind of amusing to see how easily Mustang's men turn things around with that radio performance. Put themselves as being the good guys, saving Mrs. Bradley and all. And then the Ishballans coming into town, supporting the story and stirring up the populace. Masterfully done. =D
-- And the fact that the Briggs soldiers brought a freaking tank. XD
-- Ha, Roy gets shot down by Riza, then she ignores him and does what Scar says....the look on his face is priceless. XD
-- Well that was lame. =P After Roy torches the zombies, he's supposed to make a crack about Ed having trouble with such easy enemies...not act like Ed's upset that he killed them. WTF, that doesn't make any sense. =P
-- Although, him actually torching them was pretty cool. ^_^
-- And Roy finally finds out who killed Hughes. Oh, this is going to be fun~! =D
-- I never really thought about this before, but...Envy, spotting Hawkeye wandering around alone and deciding to go after her? Is a monumentally stupid thing to do. I mean...Roy's wiping the floor with him as it is. Partly because of how angry he is. So...why the hell would he think it's a good idea to kill yet another person that Roy cares for? Really? Is he not furious enough already? Yeah, let's make him even angrier. That's a good idea. =P
-- Huh. That's an odd place to cut it. Right as Hawkeye pulls her gun on Envy-Roy.
Episode 54
-- Wow. And here I thought they'd skipped this entirely. The scene where Riza asks Roy to burn the tattoo on her back, so the knowledge can never be passed on again. Not sure why they stuck it here, but oh well. It's a good scene, and I'm glad that they included it. <3
-- Haha, I love how Riza fakes Envy out. XD "The colonel always calls me Riza when we're alone...Just kidding."
-- Yeeeeaaahhhh...Like I said, messing with Hawkeye will only piss Roy off more. XD Much fire, a really scary face, and "What do you think you're doing to my irreplacable subordinate?" And that promises so much pain. XD
-- Huh. They actually left out the "Don't go where I can't follow!" line. Bet the Royai fans are pissed. I'm not one, but it was a good line, still. Oh, well.
-- Damn....Envy actually comes across as pretty pathetic, there at the end. I think it's the voice...I didn't get that feeling in the manga.
-- Haha, I love how Olivia just takes command of those dippy Central soldiers. XD
-- Dude, Alex is so freaking awesome. <3 =D
-- Izumi~! And Buccaneer and the rest~! =D =D
-- Ah, so here it is. I'd wondered if they'd left it out...this scene where Hohenheim goes to meet Father. I'm glad they included it, but I gotta say...running the credits over it, theme song and all? Kinda lame. =P
-- But the next episode looks badass. <3 Izumi, Seig, Olivia, and Alex being awesome. Yay!
