Random Fragments
Nov. 15th, 2007 12:08 amMeh...not feeling all that together lately. Hence, this entry's very fragmented.
Been watching The Sentinel lately; dug out my season 1 DVDs and have been working on downloading seasons 2-4. (Dude, CBS, put the rest out on DVD already!) Man, I love this show. <3 I have the biggest fangirl crush on Blair Sandburg...he's totally my type. XD And I really want fanfic, but I'm trying to hold out until I've watched it all; it's a relatively short series, and it's been over long enough that a lot of the fic out there's going to take the whole thing into account. I definitely want some Jim+Blair friendshippy fic, and possibly some slash. (Or het, for that matter, if there ever appears a regular female character who would make sense with either of them.)
Our Starbucks switched to their Christmas cups and such; snowy red and white scene on the cups, with bright green cardboard insulators. This makes me strangely happy.
Mom's on vacation 'til next weekend, which is nice, since I don't get to see her as much as I'd like. Only thing that sucks is that we were going to start our Christmas shopping this weekend (since we'll both be off), but I just realized that I have to work on Saturday, 'cause of the holiday next week. Bleh. So I'm not sure if we'll go or not; we could go on Sunday, obviously, but I'm afraid I'll be too tired. (And I generally need at least one day a week to sit at home and veg. Kat = sloth)
On a more positive note, the strategy guide for Xenogears that I ordered a couple of weeks ago came the other day. Made me all nostalgic looking at it; I haven't played that game since high school...I'm thinking that maybe when I finish Okami, I'll replay Xenogears. But then, I've already got a couple of other games sitting around waiting to be played, so we'll see.
Meh...I need to go wash my hair. Don't want to, but at least I've got a 2 hour episode of Mythbusters TiVo'd that I can watch afterward. Ja~
