Dec. 5th, 2012 05:15 amMy Verismo finally came in the mail! =D I'm pretty psyched. Haven't gotten to try it out yet, though. I thought it would come with a box of pods, but it didn't. So we didn't have anything to brew with it. Whoops! XD So, the next time we're out, we'll buy a box. Still. I got a $200 coffee maker for free. I'm so not complaining. <3
Also been doing some Christmas shopping. I'm almost done with Dad and Mom...I need to get them both something else, but just a little. I'm eyeing some stuff on ThinkGeek for Dad, but I don't know what I want to get Mom. I'm planning to get her an Amazon gift card, but that won't be enough. So I have to think of something else. I'm kinda thinking I might try to get Dad to go shopping with me this weekend, so we can look for stuff without her seeing.
I've finally started on Rich's gifts, too. Haven't gotten much yet, though. I got him a little Sandrock figure from Gundam Wing, because we were talking about it the other day and he was all sappy and nostalgic. So, I thought he'd like it. Also, I decided to try my hand at calligraphy. Yeah. XD He said he was making me something, so I kinda wanted to try to make something, too. Plus with the nostalgic talk, I was thinking about us watching a lot of anime together when we were younger. So, then 'calligraphy' popped into my head; I figure, this is something I can do! It probably won't be pretty, but he's never studied the language, so he won't be able to tell. XD I'm still deciding which kanji I'll do. After that, I'll have to pester him into telling me what else he'd want.
Oh, and besides my Verismo, I also got ponies in the mail! Just two little blind bags, but I've got more coming. eBay is like, the best thing ever, seriously. Very good for feeding my growing pony addiction. Once I get the rest, I'll probably take pictures and post. Because I am a dork like that. XD
...Yeah, this post was a little random. ^^;; Oh, well. I'm off to bed now, I suppose.
