Overall...I'm not quite sure what I think, just now. ^^;; Having new Slayers after all these years is awesome...but I kinda wish it had been done better, in some ways. Oh, well. I still had fun! XD

Slayers

1. The first character I first fell in love with: Easy. Lina Inverse. <3
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Gourry. I don't usually go for academically unintelligent characters, but I adore Gourry.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: I can't think of anyone. ^^;;
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Again, I really don't know of anybody.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: My favorites are still my favorites. ^^;;
6. The character I would shag anytime: ...Probably Gourry. XD Or maybe Zel, assuming that the whole stone thing didn't cause difficulties.
7. The character I'd want to be like: Lina; she's really strong, and outgoing. She stands up for herself and others, and keeps her head in a crisis.
8. The character I'd slap: Martina, or Xelloss. They'd both be really annoying to be around.
9. A pairing that I love: Lina/Gourry
10. A pairing that I despise: I wouldn't say 'despise', but I dislike Valgarv/Filia.

13. My five least favorite characters: Martina and Naga are all I can think of; I disliked certain villains for being evil, but they're supposed to be, so that doesn't count. =P

15. My deep, dark fandom secret: Not really a secret, but I'm a dub fan. I actually prefer it to the original Japanese. (Not knocking Megumi et al, but I just like the dub guys better)


Fullmetal Alchemist

1. The first character I first fell in love with: Ed, easy. He's brilliant, and hilarious. What's not to love?
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Ling, RanFan, and Mei. I was pretty neutral about them my first time through the manga, but over time I came to love them.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Winry. I don't hate her or anything, I just don't think she's particularly interesting.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: No one, really.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Again, no one.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Ed (once he's older), Roy, and Havoc.
7. The character I'd want to be like: Olivia or Izumi. Both are very strong, independent women. They act decisively and don't need anyone else to fight their battles for them.
8. The character I'd slap: 1stAnime!Wrath. I hated that little bugger. =P
9. A pairing that I love: Roy/Ed was my first FMA pairing, and lately I've been squeeing about Ed/Sheska
10. A pairing that I despise: Ed/Winry. It just feels incestuous to me. =x I like them as friends instead.

15. My deep, dark fandom secret: Not a secret, but I ship almost only rarer pairings. Roy/Ed is the only popular one I like. The rest are more obscure, like Ed/Sheska, Havoc/Hawkeye, and Al/Winry. Plus, I'm a sucker for the actual canon pairings; Izumi/Seig is my favorite, though Hohenheim/Trisha is really sweet, too.


Gundam Wing

1. The first character I first fell in love with: Duo, I think. XD
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: No one, really. If I like them, I did from the start.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Treize was pretty well-liked, if I remember. I didn't hate him, but I never cared much about him either way.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: No one.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Again, no one.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Duo (once he got older) or Zechs
7. The character I'd want to be like: Just about any of the Gundam pilots, really. They're all very strong, in ways that I'm not.
8. The character I'd slap: Relena, I guess. I don't hate her, but I find her to be very naive, and that's a little annoying to me.
9. A pairing that I love: Heero/Duo was probably my first slash pairing, ever. XD

...Finally. Oh, I'm so glad my schedule's back to normal now. =D

Well, I had a really nice 4th of July...we actually did something this year, which is a bit surprising. Mom barbecued, and made lots of good food. Oh, God...it was so awesome. (Remember, I work nights now; I hardly ever get cooked for, any more. Woe. So, this is kind of a big deal.) And, and! Jason came over~! He ate dinner with us and stayed for quite a while, besides. So, I got good food, and I got to see my these-days-AWOL best friend. I'm a happy, happy Kat. <3

And, I was even productive this weekend! I've finished a lot of recs for Glaring Dream; haven't posted yet, 'cause I think I'm going to do more later. Also hunted down a few new fics, and quite a few new mp3s. Yay.

I've also been poking some new anime/manga series. I downloaded a chunk of the beginning of the One Piece manga, 'cause I keep seeing it around, and I think I'd like it. (Uber-long shounen series? Check. Friendship-heavy theme? Check. Pirates? Yes, please!) So, hopefully I'll get that read soon. And, episode 1 of Slayers REVOLUTION just came out. I've got it downloaded, though I haven't watched it yet. I'm really hoping this new season'll be good...we'll have to wait and see.

Oooh, and one of my very favorite fanfics (A Good Offense by joisbishmyoga) is off hiatus and updating again. <3 And all I have to say about ch.18 is that I really hope she's able to get the next one up soon. God, talk about a cliffhanger! I can't wait. =D

...and I have this song stuck in my heaaaaad. *Points to current music* I've never even played this game...I heard the song in a music video, and now it's eaten my brain. Sheesh. XD
